*LifePoint Health has an opportunity for an AVP, Growth and Outreach in office in Brentwood, TN. The AVP, Growth and Outreach's p*rimary focus is to support successful implementation and continued development of growth and outreach initiatives within our facility markets for LifePoint Health. This role will work closely with hospital Growth & Outreach liaisons and the facility transfer teams to maintain strong relationships with facilities and providers throughout our markets, continuously working to enhance and improve processes as needed in order to provide a safer, faster and more efficient transfer process for facilities and providers who need a higher level of care for their patients.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

* Uncover and overcome obstacles which impede inbound transfer growth while working to identify and capitalize on opportunities that bring growth.

* Assist to recruit and train new Growth & Outreach team members, as needed, in each facility

* Manage all phases of G&O role: training, planning, coordinating, implementing as well as assisting support maintain successful transfer operations for LifePoint facilities.

* Lead onsite transfer optimization meetings and ride-alongs within their respective markets.

* Support the strategic planning process for facility growth and development

* Coordinate and host annual training events

* Daily review of Transfer Center activity logs and reports with follow up as needed

* Host regular one-on-one coaching calls with Growth & Outreach team members who call on transferring facilities

* Work closely with hospital CEOs to manage facility transfer team expectations and activity with our transfer centers

* Provide support to facility transfer team members at all times, as needed

* Schedule ongoing training and preceptorships in hospital service lines to enable team to better understand and articulate when discussing our services with providers

* Identify potential new or existing untapped areas for growth of our services/markets

* Regular and reliable attendance.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

Exhibit an understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:*The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

*Education:*Bachelor's Degree; nursing degree and/or clinical experience a plus

*Experience:*Minimum of 10 years’ sales and leadership experience.

Moderate overnight travel (up to 50%) by land and/or air.
