This is a remote position – incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only, may work at home, on the road or in a satellite location for all or part of their workweek. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location.
All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork.

This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.
The Lead Accreditation & Clinical Compliance (ACC) Consultant coordinates day to day operations of the accreditation and clinical compliance team, while also performing the duties of an ACC Consultant.
The Lead coordinates the ACC team in cooperation with, and under the direction of the department manager, promotes team building, and is a role model for exceptional customer service, program excellence and safe patient care.
As a member of the ACC Consultant team, the Lead is responsible for research, interpretation, and consultation in support of ongoing regulatory clinical compliance and survey readiness for all Legacy Health (LH) organizations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Juris Doctor or Master’s degree with related major coursework in business administration, public administration, healthcare administration or nursing strongly preferred.
A minimum of three years of applicable health care and/or regulatory compliance experience, and one year of experience leading a service-oriented team.
Ability to quickly build rapport with all levels of staff and leaders across sites
Ability to oversee program elements as assigned
Ability to work with manager to develop and ensure execution of step-by-step work plan with well-defined tasks and milestones to ensure teams meet established timelines
Ability to motivate, support, and encourage others
Knowledge of and ability to identify, comprehend, interpret and consult regarding regulatory and accreditation requirements for LH organizations
Ability to synthesize complex and evolving regulatory issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including as applied to official regulatory correspondence
Solid project management, planning, and implementation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to present and communicate important information effectively to all levels of leadership
Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
Ability to contribute as an effective member of the ACC Team to provide consultation and organizational planning that meets LH’s clinical compliance needs
