**Overview**
Kimley-Horn has a position available immediately for an Administrative Assistant in our north Dallas office. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to support the office with administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Act as the back-up receptionist
+ Answering incoming phone calls to the office
+ Effectively partner with other Administrative staff and senior leaders
+ Mail distribution; FedEx distribution (outgoing and incoming)
+ Scheduling meetings/setting up appropriate A/V equipment and ordering meals
+ Expense reports
+ Assembling project documents and books
+ Help support other groups as needed
**Qualifications**
+ Highly organized and detail oriented
+ Polished and professional
+ 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant
+ Positive, client-oriented, take-charge attitude
+ Excellent typing skills
+ Strong grammar and punctuation skills – able to proofread documents and correct as needed
+ Able to work well with external clients
+ Able to manage and balance multiple tasks and priorities
+ Strong MS office skills –Word and Excel
