Job Description:

CNA's/HHA's provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. Home care may include hands-on care, light housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, respite and advice on such things as nutrition, cleanliness, pet maintenance and household activities.

CNA's/HHA's are responsible for ensuring that services are delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant agency policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing clients services, including needs determinates, meeting quality standards and evaluation of clients satisfaction.
Knowledge of the English Language.
The ability to communicate information's orally and written.
The ability to perform specific procedures as taught by RN or supervisor
The ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
The ability to understand written and oral instructions.
The ability to identify problems and determine an effective solution.
The ability to establishing and maintain relationships.
The Ability to competently assist clients with their activities of daily living.
Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.
Knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries including emergency first aid and when to call 911
Good Physical and mental health.
Ensuring clients safety and security by supervising the home environment.
Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands.
Meal planning and preparation, routine housekeeping activates.
Carry out duties as assigned by the supervisor.
