Key Responsibilities for the Aquatics Coordinator:
Sets-up, coordinates, and maintains high quality aquatics programs, special events, and holiday events.
Maintains equipment inventory and notifies manager when orders equipment/supplies are needed for implementation of various programs.
Updates department calendar to include all (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) aquatics programs, special events, and holidays.
Properly cares for and aquatic equipment. Keeps storage area neat, clean, and all in safe working order.
Registers all members at pool and charges for all guests, lessons and activities, etc.
Enforces club rules of safety and conduct.
Coordinates private and group swim lessons.
Maintains and keeps all necessary records concerning pool attendance, accident reports, problem-member reports, lifeguard and instructor schedules, time cards, etc.
Maintains a fully stocked First Aid kit.
Reviews guests comments and event concerns.
Maintains files for various events including items such as purchase orders, check requests, expenses, revenues, brochures, promotional material, etc.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Aquatics Coordinator:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
AED, CPR, First Aid Certification, various Water Safety/Instructor Certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
