Behavior Matters is looking for new Super Heroes to join our team in AK (we are currently hiring for Juneau & Eagle River locations (Eagle River services all of Anchorage & all of the Mat-Su Valley). Our motto is it takes someone special (a Super Hero) to work with special needs children. Currently we have multiple positions available at this time to include: Part-time Behavior Technicians (0-40 hours). We are looking for compassionate and talented individuals preferably with experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Education preferred but not necessary. Don't have experience but want to make a difference in someone's life? No problem, we have an excellent training/mentor program for those with no experience who want to make a difference in a child’s life by working 1 on 1 with them in an entry-level position as a Behavior Technician. Must be interested in long-term employment as this is not a quick buck kind of job. Qualifications and Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a current drivers license, have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
What does Behavior Matters do? Behavior Matters provides ABA therapy to children who have a medical diagnosis of Autism and have developmental delays. What does a Behavior Technician do? They work 1 on 1 with their client by implementing and monitoring the provided individual ABA intervention plan.
