To achieve this goal, we are in search of a proven business development leader with a strong drive to grow a business through increased revenue.

As the Business Development Manager at Elevate, you will help grow our agency by generating and qualifying leads, working with prospects to identify their challenges and sell them the digital ecommerce services that best meets their customer, business and technical needs.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our services

* Generate and qualify sales leads

* Manage and continue to grow the CRM database of contacts

* Leverage email, mail, and phone on a daily basis to follow up with prospects

* Develop and maintain relationships at the executive level

* Lead internal team in the creation of proposals and pitches

* Close sales by understanding current and long-term customer needs and proposing the right solution

* Work with Digital Strategist and Account Managers to develop and execute farming strategies to grow existing accounts

* Generate and manage sales pipeline that will meet annual targets

* Track and report on the status of all proposal components

* Collaborate with internal team for sales and post-close support

* Work with Marketing team to align their efforts with the sales process

* Participate in local events relevant to our industry

* Attend relevant conferences and trade shows

* Assist in developing sales projections, budgets and pricing

* Report outcome of negotiations/proposals that effectively sets expectations for teams going forward, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes and expectations

* Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships in order to leverage account growth opportunities

* Meet or exceed quotas

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university is preferred

* 4-5 years of technology and/or creative sales experience, preferably in the ecommerce industry

* Proven consultative sales solution skills

* Demonstrated ability of meeting or exceeding quotas

* Demonstrated success in driving and closing deals

* Have successfully sold digital eCommerce solutions to Director level stakeholders

* A passion and understanding of our service and approach and how it assists brands

* Strong presentation skills and demonstrated effectiveness communicating with key stakeholders

* Ability to bring existing clients/work with you would be extremely desirable

* Strong technical aptitude
