Manages assigned North American and Global key accounts, making productive use of time, establishing successful call frequency, and maximizing sales and margins. Other duties may be assigned.


* Develop strong relationships at all levels within the customers' organization (with plant engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, business managers, and senior management.)

* Understanding of polymer additives and the resins they are used in and be able to accurately speak to customers

* Participate in projects for additives in pellet, dry, compounded and liquid forms

* Compile and provide analytical and physical testing reports to internal and external customers

* Seek new customers/opportunities for business growth

* Work with plant personnel to optimize new and existing products to achieve highest output and best gross margin

* Correspond with customers in concise, professional manner using appropriate grammar. Write technical call reports based on interaction with current or potential customer

* Conducts visits/calls that are productive and informative that ultimately lead to sales

* Prepare complete, clear, and concise development requests forms for lab personnel

* Work with international colleagues to exchange technology platforms


* Bachelor's Degree from 4-year College or University preferably with concentration in the sciences or engineering preferred

* 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Proven leadership skills required
