Territory Development Representative

Sales - San Jose, California

Responsibilities:

* Conduct 200+ outbound calls while managing additional channels of communication to reach the prospect; Email, InMail, Voicemail, standard mail.

* Generate prospect interest, identify pain points, then pass prospect to sales in order to begin the sales process once the prospect has been fully qualified.

* Utilize lead generation, prospecting tools to supplement marketing in lead generation and gain awareness of target accounts within an assigned territory.

* Process any inbound or campaign-based marketing leads which may entail follow up, referral management.

* Capture pertinent customer data elements to increase knowledge of the prospect. Work with Marketing on maintaining the database. Prepare tracking reports: activities focused calling plans, leads generation, etc.

* Work closely with Field Representatives, Mid-Market Representative, and Manager in coordinating territory activity including nurturing prospects at early sales pipeline stage.

Required Experience:

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to build client relationships over the phone

* Positive attitude

* Able to work full-time in an open atmosphere setting

* Organizational skills and attention to details is a must

* Desire to establish or build a career in sales

Additional Desired Experience:

* High-tech experience, ideally selling enterprise software

* General knowledge of engineering/development teams in high-tech

* Proficient with Salesforce.com

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
