Job Description


Manager, National Campaigns and Content


Brookfield Properties has an immediate need for a Campaign Manager at our Chicago office.


Reporting to the National Campaigns and Content Director for the retail group of Brookfield Properties the Campaign Manager is a dedicated marketing resource assigned to lead, plan and execute annual, integrated, and innovative strategic marketing campaigns and content that drives foot traffic and improves awareness at Brookfield Properties shopping centers across the country. The role requires a passionate, creative, organized and consumer-focused individual who will lead marketing programs from strategy through execution across various channels and tactics.


Responsibilities


Development and execution of campaign strategies and content plans that help achieve business objectives.


+ Strategize, execute, and recap national consumer campaigns. Plans include seasonal campaigns, ongoing content, and portfolio activations with the objective to increase awareness, engagement, mall traffic, and sales.


+ Build multi-tier campaigns that are easily scaled across a variety of geographic regions and budgets.


+ Manage creation of social calendars and use KPIs to recap action-oriented learnings. Ensure content calendar supports consumer and retailer-category needs and clearly organizes available content.


+ Utilize consumer insights, campaign and content performance analytics, and consumer trends to inform and refine plans.


Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to build and align on strategies and campaign success metrics.


+ Own stakeholder relationships by leading collaboration on complex projects and positively driving key decisions and plans to achieve business needs.


+ Work with cross-functional partners to identify content needs, strategize channel-specific tactics, and test new paid opportunities.


+ Build campaign-specific timing & action calendars to identify key deadlines and manage in partnership with cross-functional team (Channel, Creative, B2C teams).


+ Partner with internal Consumer Insights team to identify business opportunities based on both retail and consumer trends & behaviors.


Manage the creative request process to ensure content effectively communicates communication pillars and achieves campaign metrics (ex: awareness, engagement, mall traffic, increased sales).


+ Strategize and source content from internal resources, content creators (ex: influencers, agencies), and local content sources (UGC).


+ Collaborate with external agencies to plan, execute, and measure local PR, events, and influencers. Manage vendor contracts, onboarding, and relationships.


+ Communicate and ensure adherence of brand standards in partnership with the Channel and Creative teams.


+ Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Education


+ Bachelor’s in marketing. Will consider strong GED/HS diploma candidates with 8+ years experience


Experience


+ 5+ years marketing experience with 3+ in digital marketing


+ Strategic planning and project management


+ Ability to leverage insights to drive strategy


Skills


+ Lead cross functional work teams


+ Ability to thrive in fast paced environment and effectively solve problems


+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in copywriting and proofreading


+ Familiarity with a variety of communication tools, technologies, and process with a proven track record of managing large projects and associated budgets


+ Expertise with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)


+ Experience preferred but not required with key technology enablers, including, but not limited to social media publishing and monitoring applications (Adobe Social, Shoutlet, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Crimson Hexagon, Radian6 or similar) and project management platforms (Wrike).


+ Efficiently manage third-party vendors to ensure project, timelines and budget are met
