***Join our team of professional CAREGivers and receive a $500 hiring bonus. You must work 200 hours and at least60 days to qualify for the bonus.***

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Driving and/or accompanying clients to appointments or other destinations
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimers Care

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Possess a valid drivers license and valid auto insurance

Our office policy is open door. We absolutely love to have CAREGivers come in and see us, anytime they like. Our door is always open to discuss anything you may have on your mind or an issue that you are concerned about with our client. We are here Monday Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM and you may stop in any time you like.
We offer flexibility and allow you to take time off with a 2 week notice (so that we may have another CAREGiver take over your schedule).
After (1) year of employment and at least $5000 in earnings, you are invited to join a 401K plan. The plan offers an employer match of up to 4% of your annual salary.
We are on call, and answer our phones live, 24 hour a day. We think that is important should you ever be with a client and have an issue, concern, or emergency situation.
All Home Instead Senior Care employees are eligible to receive a 22% discount on cell phone service with both Sprint and Verizon, if you are the main account holder.
At Home Instead Senior Care, many of our CAREGivers only work with one or two clients. Working one on one allows you to build a relationship with the client that is very rewarding.
We have a dedicated Client Care Coordinator on staff that is available to meet with you and your client at anytime if you would like help or input on care for your client.
We offer direct deposit for your pay or you may pick up your check on payday.
We provide personal introductions with you, our Client Care Coordinator, and the client on the first day of service. We think its important for both you and the client to be properly introduced and to review the plan of care for the client. Its a small touch that goes a long way.
We hold CAREGiver meetings. These are education meetings. Meetings include a guest speaker on a senior related service, and awards for training, length of employment, and other appreciation awards. Theyre a lot of fun and give us the opportunity to see our wonderful and dedicated CAREGivers!
We think being a caregiver is a professional job. We take great pride in the appearance of our professional CAREGivers! Home Instead Shirts are required. We provide one shirtto our CAREGiversand additional shirts can be purchased at a nominal cost.
We offer 25 hours of training.
You are paid for attending Orientation and all our training programs.
