Job Description
Interim HealthCare is a Personal Care and Support Services Home Care Agency seeking CNA/HHA for a day shift position working Monday through Friday working with our partner Hospice Company to support several sites in the San Jose, California(CA) Area
Our CNA/HHA job responsibilities are:
Personal Care: activities that are assisting the patient with daily living such as:
- Personal hygiene (oral hygiene, shaving, hair and skin care)
- Assisting with transfers (getting in and out of bed)
- Ambulation
- Feeding
- Bathing/Showering/Bed bath
- Dressing
- Incontinence care (assisting to bathroom, use of commode or bed pan)
- Range of motion exercise
- Taking vital signs
- Medication reminder
Homemaking: helping with light housekeeping and domestic activities such as:
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions provided by client
- Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
- Escorting to appointments out of the house such as: doctor's, shopping, lunch, etc.
