Position Summary: Requested Pay Rate
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for measuring, maintaining, and reporting inventory accuracy; processing failed transactions related to interface of WMS/SAP system; troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving inventory discrepancies or issues; and supporting training efforts of Warehouse personnel through enforcement of department policies, OTJ training, and department work instructions.
This is an entry level position that works alongside the primary Inventory Control Coordinator for the plant. Trained and grown into the duties and responsibilities below to be successful in identifying, resolving, and eliminating inventory issues to help the organization maintain high inventory accuracy, improve flow and efficiencies, while maintaining product quality. Critical thinking, detailed, enthusiastic, and engaged individual sought to support our Materials Management team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinates and completes weekly cycle counting efforts.
Resolves WM stock differences.
Processes inventory returns.
Monitors, records, and processes automated goods transactions.
Monitors and reconciles plant in-transit from intercompany sites.
Conducts reviews of non-valued R&D materials and engages responsible departments in dispositioning.
Reviews SLED and Environmental Controlled inventory and acts on them within determined limits.
Engaged in internal/external inventory audit requirements for department and plant.
Identifies gaps in inventory management and makes recommendations for improvements through resources, equipment, or storage requirements.
Monitors and acts on interim storage bins in WM/IM systems.
Reviews ERP production orders and conducts goods withdrawals/issues in order balancing. Works with finance to settle orders and cost centers to the appropriate chart of accounts.
Monitors raw material silo activity and other materials as identified and required.
Provides instruction to operating groups on proper use of inventory transactions, storage techniques, and material handling requirements.
Performs QN initiated material movements.
Documents performance issues. Engages Leads and Supervisors on actionable inventory problems.
Prepares and distributes inventory summaries/reports
Acts on company dashboards: IAAF, Material Master, and Valuation Class/Salability requests.
Maintains plant inventory records following company document retention policies.
Logs daily WM Failed Transactions.
Updates CAR's with Investigative Information.
Reviews department policies, procedures, work instructions and forms and initiates revisions and retraining.
Demonstrates support for overall organizational goals.
Demonstrates willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Participates in developing individual skill sets and department skill sets to meet current and planned business needs.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, Physical Requirements):
Mandatory Education: High School; Mandatory Experience: 2 years
Type of Experience: Inventory management; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent computer skills; knowledge of accounting principles, material movement, and APICS, ability to operate forklift, reach and WAV equipment.
Preferred Education: Vocational; Preferred Experience: 3 Years; Type of Experience: Warehouse OR Materials Coordinating
Required lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted
Operate Mobile RF Unit
Overtime is required periodically.
Associate: Minimum of 2 year receiving or warehouse experience. Experienced with SAP and product knowledge. Understands cause and effect relationship with inventory and able to troubleshoot and problem solve basic inventory issues.
$16.50/hr or more based on experience
