The Clinical Nurse-Perinatal Simulation Program Educator will d esign, implement, facilitate, and evaluate educational programs for the Riley Maternity Perinatal Simulation Program . Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to design scenarios, identify learning objectives, develop curriculum, and schedule programs specific to the ability and level of the learner. Lead, coordinate, and support educational programs for perinatal faculty, fellows, residents, NPs, PAs, RNs, RTs, hospital personnel, and community providers across the state. Debrief learners performance and offer correction of cognitive, technical, and behavioral skills witnessed throughout the scenario. Provide feedback to the simulation team from each program for effectiveness and opportunities for enhancement of realism. Assist with research projects including recruitment, consent, conducting clinical research, and gathering data. Present research findings at local and national conferences. Maintain high-fidelity manikins, video equipment, and all expendable simulation resources.
+ Requires discipline-specific current registration/certification/licensure as mandated by program accreditation requirements and/or professional standards.
+ Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Current NRP provider preferred.
+ Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience.
+ Current delivery room experience preferred.
+ Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook
