Our office is looking to hire a student in the Spring/Summer 2020 academic terms. Please submit both resume and cover letter for review - incomplete applications will not be considered. Based on performance and eligibility, there is a potential for this candidate to continue working in the 2020-2021 academic year. We prefer candidates who have Friday availability and please include your scheduling availability within your cover letter.
+ Assist with administrative operations within the Office of Financial Aid including scanning, copying, data entry and other special projects as assigned
+ Assist with communicating general financial aid student inquiries via the phone, e-mail and in-person
+ Assist with the daily operations in the Office of Financial Aid welcome center including staff coverage, handling sensitive student documents and re-directing student inquiries to other offices and department liaisons as necessary
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - particularly with Excel data sheets, formatting and formulas
+ Professional, patient and friendly demeanor; able to handle high volumes of student traffic and inquiries during office hours
+ Able to multi-task/focus on assigned clerical tasks for extended periods of time
+ Great attention to detail, accurate and precise in accomplishing a task
+ Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.
+ Must be a student matriculated in a TC degree program.
+ Must be taking at least 6 credits (or equivalent, which includes full-time equivalent offerings - HBSK 6480, CCPJ 6480, CCPX 6480, or any 8900 course).
+ Full-time TC employees are not eligible for this position.
+ Must be able to abide by the Student Confidentiality Agreement.
+ Must be able to abide by the Student Privacy Requirements.
