The Compensation Analyst will have primary responsibility for supporting the design and administration of our executive compensation program, policies and practices including equity compensation.


**Primary Responsibilities?:**


+ Identify and utilize various data sources including surveys, proxy filings and research reports to evaluate practices, policies and program competitiveness


+ Monitor executive compensation market trends and regulatory developments


+ Assist with preparation for Compensation Committee and Board of Directors meetings including agenda planning, scheduling, analysis and material development


+ Partner with colleagues in Finance, Accounting, Legal, and HR to prepare the annual proxy statement filing, with a specific focus on the CD&A and tabular disclosure


+ Partner with compensation colleagues to support the administration of the global equity program including quarterly grant issuance and vesting processes


+ Design, implement and maintain compensation systems, processes & tools to support current and future compensation program evolution


+ Use data and insights to help develop persuasive materials for senior management’s consideration and approval


+ Participate in the administration and analysis of our global salary and incentive programs, as needed


+ Develop creative methods for compiling and preparing data including but not limited to designing reports and tools to use in compensation-related analytics and dashboards


+ Assist with the development of educational materials, tools, training modules and content to increase understanding of compensation programs and practices


+ Utilize Morgan Stanley Stock Plan Connect to research and review equity plan activity as needed


+ Support special projects including M&A


**Required Experience and Skills?:**


+ 3-5 years of relevant work experience in compensation, consulting, finance or legal


+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into meaningful insights


+ Excellent attention to detail


+ Advanced Excel skills to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models and reports


+ Must be adaptable and able to reprioritize based on rapidly changing business requirements


+ Solutions minded with the ability to break down complex issues and simplify processes


+ Strong communication skills and ability to partner and work cross-functionally


**Education Minimum Requirements:**


+ Bachelor's degree
