Are YOU ready to join us?
+ Assesses chronically, acutely and critically ill patients who have some degree of malnutrition.
+ Participates in planning and implementing nutritional support therapies, tube feedings and the intravenous administration of nutrients.
+ Oversees nursing care of patients receiving parenteral and enteral nutritional support and ensures adherence to nutritional support guidelines.
+ Monitors patient response to therapy and evaluates the effectiveness of the nutritional support care plans.
+ Serves as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients and family members.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in nursing. Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, of which one year must be in IV therapy and one year in an intensive care unit. Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
