Job Description

Performs a variety of duties to support nursing administration. Reviews and supervises staffing needs on a daily basis, calculating staffing requirements based on flexible staffing patterns, patient acuity, and patient throughput while maintaining required documentation. Supervises patient sitters.

Required Licenses

Registered Nurse

Current Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status preferred

Minimum Work Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience

Two years of experience in a hospital setting preferred

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
