General Summary of Job Duties

This position is responsible for providing planning and analysis data and tools to Jacobs Entertainment operational-based business units in an effort to maximize profitability through revenue enhancements and cost efficiencies.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties

* Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.

* Evaluate key component metrics and processes in each operating area to ensure efficiency.

* Establish and/or Optimize reporting tools for use by operations managers in making decisions

* Manage the Data Warehouse in conjunction with IT to ensure proper capture and organization of information

* Utilize SQL and other reporting tools to derive information upon request or on a scheduled basis

* Collaborate with individual business unit leaders to analyze performance challenges

* Create value by providing recommendations and solutions to business-case issues

* Participates in growth planning with Executive Team.

* Participates in planning and budgeting.

* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

* Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.

* Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.

* Maintain an open line of communication with Management.

* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with Guests, fellow Employees, and Vendors.

* Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.

* Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.

* Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

* Analytical - the individual synthesizes complex or diverse information.

* Oral communication - the individual speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings. Must be fluent in English.

* Delegation the individual delegates work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.

* Quality management the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

* Judgment the individual displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.

* Planning/organizing the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.

* Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent; or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Ability to frequently travel to all of the company's properties for varying periods of time. Air travel as well as travel by automobile are key requirements.
