Job Summary:


This position will be responsible and hold the position as the Corporate FSO for Raytheon Technologies (RTX) to include facilities in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:


The candidate will oversee the daily operations of the Corporate Industrial Security facility and personnel.


The candidate will have a thorough understanding of and extensive experience in 32 CFR Pt. 117, NISPOM security regulations.


The successful candidate will be a highly skilled in security policy and procedure implementation with demonstrated experience in overseeing & developing executable plans with measurable results.


This role will ensure clear expectations are established and flowed through the Corporate Security Organization as well as all Raytheon Technologies Businesses.


Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with all RTX Businesses peers to formulate consistent security procedures and practices across a “one-RTX” security program consistent with DCSA, customer, contractual and company requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:


A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience


US Citizenship


10+ years relevant professional experience


Refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts


Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment


Willing to travel on company business


Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of Raytheon employees with an emphasis on Corporate Senior Leadership and Board of Directors


Active and In-Scope DOD Top Secret security clearance


Qualifications We Desire:


Experience with and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM


Security related certification and training courses, to include insider threat and Facility Security Officer


Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.


Previous supervisory/management experience with direct reports


Ability to engage with and collaborate across multiple organizations and organizational levels


Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image


Ability to multi-task


Ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives


Ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex problems


Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years


prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree


in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited


by local laws/regulations.
