DREN Program Management Support (HISS-18-0901-W):

As part of Bowhead's continuing support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), we are accepting applications for a DREN Program Management Support Analyst. This role will support High Performance Computing Integrated Support Services (HISS) for the High Performance Computing Modernization Program Offices (HPCMPO) located in Lorton, VA. Individual will provide oversight support to the Associate Director for DREN and shall ensure all DREN projects are staffed, tracked, documented and included in an overall DREN project schedule.

The DREN Program Management Support Analyst will provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation. Advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Participates, as needed, in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

* Provides oversight, coordination, and implementation of all program requirements.

* Provides strategic leadership, planning and support to ensure customer as well as future mission initiatives are supported.

* Direct development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure that the program operates efficiently and address problems and deficiencies swiftly.

* Review Request for Engineering Change Proposals, Request for Proposals, Statements of Work, and Request for Information and ensure responses are compliant and competitive.

* Full engagement throughout proposal to project delivery lifecycle.

* Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

* Understands and adheres to Federal, customer and company policies and practices.

* Manages complex spending plans and ensure all aspects of the program are operating within established budgets.

Requirements Minimum of five years' of experience in the same or similar position is required.

* Bachelor's degree in Science and/or Business Administration required. An additional eight (8) years' of direct related. experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree on a case-by-case basis.

* Military experience preferred (US Army experience, highly desired).

* Requires the ability to interface with a diverse group of individuals and/or departments. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

* Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

* Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold an active security clearance at the Secret level (at a minimum). May be subject to a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement at this location.
