Job Description

Responsible for the occupancy planning, occupancy forecasting, move management, space utilization and space planning of all leased and owned properties associated with the system administrative, employed physical practices and ambulatory locations supported by corporate real estate, system wide. Develops a planning process to capture the forward looking business strategies for all the business lines and hospital campuses, synchronized with the organization capital planning process. Maintains a current and comprehensive floorplans, and has a comprehensive understanding of all existing space in the organization's portfolio by space type, obligation type, use and vacancy. Develops strategy for move management process in the administrative buildings and all corporate real estate controlled properties, all space planning activities for administrative and corporate real estate internal clients, and all occupancy tracking and planning. Provides overall leadership through development and interpretation of policies and programs across portfolio consistent with best practices. Maintains strategic oversight/approval of space usage, selects an administrate space management software, and manages third party vendors that augment or support processes. Success is accomplished by leading and translating initiatives; establishing and maintaining policy, procedures and processes; increasing level of communication and service; and driving strategic approaches to space utilization, the move process and documentation of the system's space. This position is responsible to set the vision for master planning of space use, occupancy forecasting, validation of space use, move management, and document all floorplans, system wide. Professional designations preferred but not necessary such as AIA, RID, NCIDQ, and ASID. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred 7+ years of real estate property management or related experience CPM, RPA, or CSM designation (preferred) Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients regarding policies/procedure, property operations and transactions Strong knowledge of finance and building operations Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors Previous experience in interpreting and implementing commercial lease and/or contract language Ability to take initiative, work independently and think conceptually, track and manage multiple task Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Communication Proficiency (oral and written)
