We are looking for **_Project Controls Director - Process Standards._** The Director will work with the operating and functional leaders in North America and share best practices between the Global BrandSafway business, with the Commercial Operations and Business Development functional teams to identify and implement pricing improvement and ensure consistent implementation of company tools at all job sites with projected annual revenue gt;$250,000.


Reporting to the VP; Project Controls, the Director will lead a team with influence across the IEC business in North America to drive the standardization of project setup across the BrandSafway Industrial, Energy & Commercial business in North America. The Director will lead and develop strong relationships with customers, serving as a liaison between internal teams and key customer executives and stakeholders in preparing meaningful project contract compliance. Focus is on ensuring site operations are setup to a consistent standard and appropriate to the contract requirements, providing transparency to the profit levers and productivity metrics of each contract.


With a focus on productivity & KPI reports, the Director will work with BrandSafway branch and site teams at comparatively low productivity job sites to develop and implement project plans and site process standards leading to improved productivity. As requested, support efforts around eCollaboration (digitization, customer portal, etc.) with our Customers.


**_Responsibilities_**


+ Standardization of productivity & performance metrics. Track KPI’s & prepare reports on site & key customer portfolio productivity initiatives.


+ Lead development and implementation of a standard BrandSafway Productivity Index (BPI) so that BrandSafway is more able to evaluate real productivity across its portfolio of sites, and index sites against each other.


+ BrandSafway Productivity Index (BPI) is a “Labor Norm”, utilized to measure and compare productivity across sites, supported by a consistent (standard) MoM (method of measurement). **_Examples_** :


+ Scaffold…equivalent LF (leg-foot) per hour, Insulation…equivalent SqFt (Square foot) per hour, total installed cost


+ Work with multi-site customers and region teams at comparatively low productivity job sites to develop and implement project plans to improve productivity


+ Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. Represent our company and interact with major clients with a customer service attitude, and provide customers real feedback on opportunities to reduce barriers.


+ Frequent customer interface: focus on deepening of client relationships, anticipate client needs before they arise and present solutions to productivity that encompass issues at hand; suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs


+ Lead business requirements gathering toward defining technology optimization (field tablets, internal tools & customer systems), supporting efforts to seamlessly interface with internal & external customer systems (as necessary)


+ Coordinates preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and information from the project.


+ Participate on a global Project Controls team to drive company-wide systemic changes


**_Qualifications_**


+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical field from an accredited university


+ 10+ years relevant experience in Construction, preferably industrial projects (such as petrochemical, refinery, power, offshore platforms).


+ Experience should include understanding contracts, standard commercial T&C’s, contract compliance, invoice auditing, and proposal experience considered a major plus.


+ Desired experience also includes time spent ‘in the field’ on job-sites, with an understanding of productivity drivers


+ Ability to analyze qualitative data; should be capable of ‘boiling down’ large amounts of data into relevant / actionable information. Superior problem-solving ability


+ Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level


+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships


+ Working knowledge in using personal computer and application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
