**THIS ROLE CAN BE REMOTELY BASED in the NJ/PA/NYC area - only come into the office as necessary.**
In this exciting position, you will partner with team members to shape, generate and execute communications plans focusing on women/consumers and her HCPs with targeted content and channel strategies and state-of-the art approaches. The director needs to execute and evolve current multi-channel communications strategies to create impactful and meaningful experiences for women and HCPs around our emerging core areas of women’s health including maternal health and fertility as well as some new areas that are beginning to evolve.
The role will include working with our in-house resources and external experts to identify new engagement opportunities to create and support campaign creation, understand changing market trends and align on most effective channels. Creating new collaboration opportunities is a high-level goal as well.
Our lead will be at the center of understanding our targets’ needs and wants, people who influence her, channels that reach her and identify new ways to drive success in an evolving environment. Demonstrated success in developing effective engagement and transformational, compliant social and digital strategies across the pharmaceutical and health and wellness space is a must. The candidate will also work closely with the consumer brand team to translate key commercial strategies into effective and aspirational communications, digital and engagement programs.
**Primary Responsibilities** :
+ The role will include working with our in-house resources and external experts to understand current market trends and identify new engagement opportunities that reach our target audiences through an omnichannel approach.
+ Specific areas of focus will be on current and emerging areas of unmet need including reproductive and maternal health, and general women's health conditions.
+ Develop transformational engagement strategies and lead a cross-functional team to develop and execute strategic communications programs within the appropriate regulatory framework.
+ Translate key commercial strategies into effective and aspirational communications, digital and engagement programs.
+ Engagement with media, advocates and influencers
**Education Minimum Requirements** **:**
+ Bachelors' degree required.
**Required Experience and Skills** **:**
+ At least 15+ years of experience in communications with focus in consumer health/women’s focused communications; emphasis on digital communications, media and advocacy.
+ Proven ability to deliver authentic, strategic and relevant programming and partner with cross-functional team members as well as the ability to deliver at the tactical level.
+ Excellent understanding of insights application, creative development, influencer marketing, stellar execution with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly.
+ Ability to think and execute within dynamic, fast-paced organization.
+ Clear thinking/problem solving; successfully leading multiple projects/initiatives; able to conceive of and quickly build new ideas; project management skills are key and ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information and communicate priorities clearly and concisely.
+ Experience across PESO model and working with video (storyboarding, filming & editing), plus web and social media content development.
**Preferred Experience and Skills** **:**
+ Experience in pharmaceutical health care and women’s health issues.
+ Significant experience with consumer health programming, professional outreach and engagement/activation and social media, with specialty in marketing to women.
+ Agency experience may also be relevant.
+ Marketing to women expertise a plus.
+ Proven consumer programming and project management experience.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset and spirit a must.
