Gemini Energy Services, A Tetra Tech Division is seeking a Full time Electrical Engineer to join the Denver, CO team. Our Denver team is looking for a motivated electrical engineer to support our power generation division. The work would consist of electrical support for a variety of engineering services projects including detailed design, owners representative, and sustaining capital projects for the renewable and thermal power generation markets.
- Perform electrical engineering tasks such as, create electrical one-line diagrams, size electrical equipment, perform equipment assessments, perform electrical studies, and author electrical specifications
Perform physical layout of electrical equipment, such as cabling and bus duct
Develop proposals for new projects
Create project estimates including equipment cost and design hours
Demonstrated 5 years of experience or more in the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, or the Oil and Gas Industry as a design engineer
Proficiency in electrical modeling tools such as ETAP and/or SKM
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus
Field Engineering experience is a plus
High level of proficiency in written and oral communications skills
High level of proficiency in power system electrical non-physical and physical design
High level of proficiency in project administrative activities; scope, schedule, budget, and change control
Professional Engineering License in a least one state
