Brief Description

Under the direction of the Assembly Production Supervisor, the Assembler will apply the electrical assembly skills and knowledge required to assemble and test TBD in an ESD safe environment.

Key Accountabilities

* Assemble electro mechanical components and assemblies.

* Work with team lead to conduct firmware downloads and execute production tests for PCBs and wireless gateways.

* Pack out and attach all needed product labels to finished products.

* Assist in the production and test activities involving PCB setup and software downloads.

* Read/understand and follow assembly instructions to executed production work tasks needed.

* Use power and hand tools, shop equipment, testing and measuring devices such as DMM.

* Determine if parts and assemblies match with Bill of Materials and Engineering Specifications

* Update and maintain assembly equipment.

* Track and order inventory items.

* Identify and locate missing electrical components.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* Familiar with Office Applications (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel)

* Maintain an orderly work environment.

* Work safely according to policy and procedures.

* Develop new skills and learn new processes to grow throughout the organization.

* Other duties as assigned and needed by teams and supervisors.

Job Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent experience

* 2-3 years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment

* Wiring, crimping, soldering, and wire routing experience

* Application of lean principles

* Basic knowledge of blueprints/schematics reading

* Basic electrical and mechanical skills

* Basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience

* Team player
