Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer
Location: King George, Virginia
Clearance: Secret clearance
Key Role:
Assess electromagnetic integration challenges and solutions space for radar and other sensor systems on current Navy platforms and platforms in development. Support other engineers to perform tasks, when necessary. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop and contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review and guide the activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of experience with engineering and science (E&S), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Science and Technology (S&T) efforts
+ 3+ years of experience with integration to shipboard systems for warfare systems or electronic systems
+ Experience with one or more of the following areas: Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) instructions, standards, policies, and procedures, Defense Acquisition Engineering, E3, EMI, and EMC testing, EMI problem investigation, Spectrum EMI and EMC analysis and assessment, the USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (0-FRP), EMI Control and Mitigation, EMI Control Drawings, Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility Improvement Program (SEMCIP) Technical Assistance Network (STAN) or E3 Team Online.
+ Experience working in a Team environment
+ Secret clearance
+ Bachelor’s degree
