General Description of Duties:
Provide job placement job coaching, job retention, life/financial/career advancement coaching services to people who are employed, underemployed, who have barriers to job retention and career advancement.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide one on one individualized life, financial and career coaching and career advancement planning, evaluation/assessment and retention services to member company employees.
Provide job readiness and job placement services to people who are unemployed or underemployed.
Provide Employers with the education and technical assistance necessary to ensure buy-in and integration of the CFS services at their companies.
Provide coaching, support and connection to resources for budgeting and financial planning in support of employees and their dependents.
Constantly seek opportunities for collaboration and leveraging of resources that benefit the participants, employees and families of member businesses and the HIRED program.
Keep employee and employer issues confidential and work towards the advancement of all employees.
Tracking of key indicators and outcomes in Cares systems and HMIS for both Connect for Success and HIRED.
Development and implementation of best practices.
Engage with community partners that will assist Connect for Success and HIRED with support services (e.g. Department of Social and Human Services (DSHS), Housing providers, Community Colleges, child care agencies, employer assisted housing, other service providers, etc.)
Abide by all Cares of Washington policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Minimum of a BA degree preferred in a related field
5+ years of overall professional experience preferred
Prior coaching and business experience preferred
+ Valid and current WA state driver?s license
+ Proof of automobile insurance
+ Proof of reliable transportation
+ Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred and/or ability to pass certification within 30 days of hire.
+ Compliance with/completion of USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification as required by law
+ Candidates must pass a WA State criminal history background check prior to employment.
