Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervises and guides corrective and preventive maintenance on a 2-2-3, 12 hour shift rotation shift in an ISO compliant, semiconductor fabrication cleanroom

* Maintains employee training records and assigns technical development areas for technicians

* Participates in the maintenance effort as a coach and leader

* Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs

* Acts as liaison with engineering, process, production, and other personnel Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping

* Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the shift

* Supervises equipment technicians- owns administrative, development and coaching responsibilities for all of their employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Associates degree in an electronic related field or military experience preferred

* 5+ years of semiconductor experience is preferred

* Demonstrated skill and success in supervising in a high-tech environment strongly desired

* Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communicative, and technical skills

* Position requires someone who is self-motivated, team oriented, adaptive, and responsive

* Excellent management skills and experience coaching direct employees for success

* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software is preferred

* Experience with concept and practices of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing

* Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
