Experienced Dog Bather 

Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique - McKinney, TX

Part-Time and Full-Time - Starting Pay $9.00 + Depending on Experience

Any Bathing or Grooming Experience is a plus

Full Time Work available: 36 - 40 hrs a week

Part Time Work available: 10 to 25 hrs a week

Minimum Availability Required

Hours: Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Requirements: Must be willing to learn!!

1. Able to Trim/Dremel nails, Clean/Pluck Ears, Express Anal Glands, detect and brush out mats, deshedding baths, and flea and tick baths.

2. Work at a fast pace with a good attitude, not easily stressed.

3. Must be very punctual.

A Pet Bather plays a very important role in salon operations. They are responsible for the high quality bathing and drying as well as the safety and comfort of pets in the salon.

Operations and Daily Duties: Pet Bathers will be trained to identify and use correct techniques,products, equipment, uses and safety procedures and apply them to bathing, blow drying and finishing pets to Splash and Dash standards. A Pet Bather will be able to safely and correctly perform these additional services; Teeth brushing , Ear cleaning , Anal gland expulsion , Facials , Nail trimming , Nail filing

Pet Bathers will be required to properly complete daily, weekly and monthly equipment and shop cleaning duties. Pet Bathers may be required to accept additional duties as needed.

Requirements: Ability to perform all tasks mentioned above Must be able to lift 60lbs And willing to work in a humid environment. Will happily follow all safety procedures and company's standards of quality. You don't mind cleaning and getting a bit wet.

Pet Bathers willingly: Interact professionally and effectively with all team members in the best interest of the company.  Learn to correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools, techniques and products. Ensures the safety and well-being of each pet in our care. Follows all Splash & Dash salon quality standards.  Maintains productivity levels. Utilizes and cares for grooming tools including brushes, combs, etc. Follow instructions when washing or drying an animal’s coat.  Records necessary information in the computer program.
