Bennigan's - Expo Job Description
PURPOSE: Prepares and maintains assigned par levels of food items, cleanliness of kitchen, work areas & equipment.
Follow all recipes and procedures while preparing assigned sauces and food items according to prep lists and par guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all health codes and requirements.
Use knives correctly (French, serrated or other) in chopping, cutting, dicing, etc.
Clean shelves, organize and remove trash also cleans/maintains workspace daily.
Operate equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.
Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating.
Able to work closely and communicate with all Team Members, in constant high pace doing a variety of "time restraint" tasks.
Other functions as assigned by management.
Essential Physical Requirements:
100% Stand or walk.
75% Work at Approx. 36" table/stove and reach in approx. 36”.
75% Reach (6” to overhead) bend, stoop and wipe.
60% Perform job at continuous high pace, under pressure, while maintaining quality & speed standards.
50% Lift and carry sacks, boxes, product up to 50 pounds from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 feet and sometimes involving stairs.
Essential TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials and watching videos.
Qualifications: Must be 16 years old to be hired, 18 years old to operate mandated equipment and meet any other state qualifications.
