Bowhead is actively recruiting for an FMS Analyst-Journeyman to join our team in making a difference by supporting the warfighter through Unmanned Aviation Systems Program Office Support. This position is located at Patuxent River, which is the home of NAVAIR, various aviation test and evaluation systems, and The United States Naval Test Pilot School. The FMS Analyst Journeyman supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various International and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

Bowhead has over 17 years of proudly supporting these commands and fleet integration objectives and works tirelessly to maximize its value to our customers and employees. The FMS Analyst Journeyman duties include but are not limited to:

* Assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.

* Evaluation of customer needs and comparison against program office capabilities

* Ability to provide Administrative support

* Must have an understanding of case execution activities such as program planning, financial , logistics and systems engineering management

* Ability to prepare Senior level meetings

* Familiarity with US Security Assistance laws, policies & procedures to include Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure (TSFD)

* Compose draft responses to request for information

* Must possess the ability to attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.

Requirements BA/BS Degree with three (3) years' or less of professional experience

o OR an individual with an Associate's degree PLUS four (4) years' of experience in a relevant role may be substituted.

* Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

* Unmanned Aircraft Systems experience is highly desirable

* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

* Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
