As the Financial Accounting Analyst, your responsibilities with consist of performing financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will also be required to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. Responsibilities:


+ Provides financial subject matter expertise and support for the preparation of the annual corporate business plan and quarterly financial projections related to the areas of responsibility.


+ Performs detailed analysis and prepares reports on warranty and recall campaign-related activity.


+ Utilizes all available claims data to calculate and enter necessary journal entries to facilitate the accounting close.


+ Develop and present financial and operational reports and estimates to finance and business leadership stakeholders.


+ Ensure full compliance with JSOX, IFRS, and accounting policy requirements.


Requirements


The ideal Financial Accounting Analyst candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in systems, finance or accounting strongly preferred. CPA or MBA or other related progression.


Other requirements for the Financial Accounting Analyst position include and are not limited to:


+ 4+ years of business finance or other relevant experience


+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.


+ Experience working with ERP, EPM and BI systems; Oracle financial system software is strongly preferred.


+ Strong familiarity of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the preparation of journal entries is required.
