We are seeking to fill a **Production Officer** (Finished Intel) position in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a continuous review process to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and standards for identifying process improvements to drive improved efficiency and quality.
This role is also responsible for:
+ Evaluating quality issues, inefficient processes, product quality, customer feedback, and analyst recommendations to identify process and product improvements
+ Identifying opportunities to eliminate duplication of effort
+ Improving analyst effectiveness and efficiency
+ Eliminating backlog
+ Reducing accuracy issues and improving general operations
+ Briefing improvement recommendations, gaining approval for implementation, and coordinating implementation improvements
+ Implementating tools, scripts, algorithms, and techniques
+ Assessing the effectiveness of the improvements
+ Assessing and reporting on metrics.
The following are minimum requirements for the role:
+ 10+ years of experience
+ MA/MS degree
+ Strong writing and editing skills
+ Experience with NCTC production requirements
+ Experience reviewing finished intelligence and collaborating with analysts and managers
+ Critical thinking skills
+ Knowledge of national security classification procedures
+ Experience with NCTC publishing principles
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities change
+ Ability to work a staggered three-day shift with core hours between 1100- 0100; shifts Sunday-Tuesday and with a second shift operating on Wednesday-Friday
+ TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
+ Recognized expert in specific field
