We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive maintenance program. This includes managing an internal team of supervisors and preventative maintenance technicians, scheduling maintenance mechanics traveling with maintenance-related supplies to dispersed equipment and performing on-site maintenance activities on all machinery and vehicles, from heavy-lift equipment to light duty trucks. Your duties will include ensuring Preventive Maintenance performance and compliance to established standards, managing suppliers or internal mechanics in the performance of PM services, managing/leading/developing a team of ~10-15 internal maintenance supervisors, coordinating performance of Preventive and Reactive Maintenance on assigned assets.


The Fleet Maintenance Manager role will be based in Willow Grove, PA and is for first shift.


To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.


Responsibilities:


+ Develop a comprehensive maintenance program for the full fleet of equipment, including Preventative and Reactive Maintenance


+ Build and manage a Team of Maintenance Supervisors


+ Communicate corporate maintenance expectations directly with Operations Team


+ Support Operations Team in maintenance strategy and execution


+ Monitor compliance to required PM service across assigned assets


+ Monitor utilization of Fleet Management System and preferred vendor network


+ Prioritize and assign work to internal mechanics based on required PM performance and asset geography


+ Control PM equipment and tools, consumable, inventory, and labor costs


+ Guide and support Maintenance Supervisors


+ Coach and mentor Preventative Maintenance Technicians


+ Monitor Maintenance Supervisor work levels and performance. Balance work-load requirements across team of supervisors


+ Operate individually and within a team environment


+ Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions


Maintenance Manager Requirements:


+ 3-5 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.


+ High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Associates or Tech School degree preferred


+ Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance scheduling


+ Experience with fleet management platforms such as Fleetio preferred


+ Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.


+ Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferred


+ A minimum of 2 years of journeyman level mechanic experience required


+ Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.


+ Excellent communication, multi-tasking and customer service skills.


+ Valid drivers' license required.


+ Must pass a background and/or Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
