Foundations for Leading is a development program designed to provide participants the opportunity to explore the concept of leadership at CVS and to develop and improve their leadership skills. The program is delivered over a 10-12 month time period. It integrates 5, one day workshops, experiential exercises known as key learning experiences (KLE's), pod assignments and a Regional Level project. Participants complete the program while in their current position.
Participants are involved in the development program while still in their current position. This course is offered on a first come first serve basis if you meet all the required qualifications. You will be contacted concerning your application as to your acceptance or denial into the program. Please notify your direct supervisor as to your expressed interest and make sure to have all documents necessary to support the required qualification criteria.
o 6+ months experience in Store Manager or Pharmacy Manager role with CVS Health or equivalent retail leadership experience
o Currently employed in the role and all required training completed
o Meets Expectations or higher on previous year’s performance review if employed by CVS for 1+ years
o Average or above level assessment on leadership competencies
o Not currently on a level three warning or an IAP within a year

Associates degree or higher preferred
o Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
