Purpose: Oversees all front of house operations, assuring that the Guests’ experiences exceed their expectations. Provides guidance and supervision to the host staff, bar staff, bus staff and serving staff. Has direct contact with Guests to assure their overall satisfaction.
· Continually monitors personal and other Team Members' behavior for unsafe practices and takes corrective action when necessary. · Displays a positive attitude. · Practices safe food handling and storage. · Ensures the work area and equipment is clean and sanitized at all times. · Willingly helps other Team Members when needed.· Upholds company and brand standards. · Notifies manager of positive and negative feedback from Guests. · Suggests and supports innovative ideas. · Follows all security guidelines and procedures. · Supervises trains and motivates all employees · Assist with training of new service staff· Maintains sanitation practices· Interacts with Guests, conducting “table-touches” and speaking with Guests who wish to discuss issues, both good and bad. · Ensures that Team Members adhere to maintenance schedules.· Assists by checking out Servers, Bus, Host/Hostesses and Bartenders
· Lift and carry cases of food, supplies and equipment up of 50 pounds.· Frequently bend, stoop, reach & must be able to use arms above head/shoulder l· Climb a ladder or “step-up” to reach supplies stored in overhead areas.· Stand/walk for shifts up to eight hours· Perform maintenance duties as required· Read and write.· Communicate effectively with Guests and Team Members.· Minimum of 18 years of age.· Minimum of nine months FOH restaurant experience is required
