Summary:


Commercial Engines develops, markets, sells and services Pratt & Whitney's portfolio of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engines, including the company's Geared Turbofan™ engine family.


Our West Palm Beach (WPB) Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Engineering organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to support engine repair center process and activities. The responsibility of this role is to provide Process Engineering support to operational activities as engine modules progress through the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) process to meet external and internal customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Develop and own process plans incorporating technical data revisions and deviations as required.


+ Take lead role in driving process improvements. Participate in investigations of process turn-backs and escapes, Customer inquiries, etc. Provide the support necessary to complete the investigations in the management declared timetable.


+ Lead the product-controlled build process driving waste elimination, lessons learned and improved efficiency.


+ Comply with all government regulations, regulatory requirements, company policies, repair station procedures and work instructions including Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and International Trade Compliance requirements.


+ Support Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) operating system activities as required.


Basic Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience


+ A minimum 2+ years of relevant Manufacturing or Aerospace industry experience


+ US Citizenship is required due to government contracts


Preferred Qualifications:


+ 2+ years of experience in Aerospace Aftermarket MRO Industry preferred


+ Experience working with Solumina software package (manages work and quality processes)


+ Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 145 as it pertains to a repair station


+ Technical understanding of tech data, blueprints, work instructions,


+ Dynamic attitude, and team-player who can work well with all levels of shop crew


+ Extraordinary interpersonal skills and proven track record of collaboration, adaptability, innovation and initiative


+ You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills


+ Proficient use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
