The Role:

The Guest Service member (Ushers/Greeters/Ticket Takers) interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

Job Functions:

* Deliver exemplary customer service with friendly & warm interaction to maintain customer loyalty

* Scan barcodes on tickets upon guest entry

* Assist guests with ticketing issues and finding seat locations

* Directing guests to areas of interest

* Gaining knowledge of all venue maps, seating charts and venue policies to appropriately answer questions asked by guests.

* Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation

* Occasionally help set up area before opening (stanchions, table configuring, etc.)

* Enforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices

* Aid in the direction of orderly evacuation during emergencies

* Keep interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles, during shift.

* Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.

* Other tasks as assigned by the Guest Services Manager


* High School Diploma or equivalent

* At least 2 years in Customer Service and communications

* Strong strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills

* Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

* A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

* Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful

* Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, climbing stairs, working on your feet both indoors and outdoors.

* Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques
