We seek a high-energy Human Resources Business Partner to help drive our HR initiatives and promote our high-performance culture in our Indianapolis Operations Office and our Sales group found throughout the Midwest region.iHow You'll Make an ImpactYou will partner with employee teams at appropriate levels to drive performance and build organizational capability, including coaching and enabling managers to be better leaders.You will closely collaborate with peers and colleagues throughout the HR community to bring to bear the complete HR value chain.As a trusted advisor and thought leader, you will drive discussions related to cultural and workforce changes and provide recommendations.Enable local departments to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline, including focusing on succession planning.Keep an overall pulse of the sales and operations leadership team and constantly scan the external market for trends and influences.Partner with the operation and sales managers to create and implement people strategies that support department specific strategic initiatives and leverage site HR resources for routine activitiesUse data (new hire, pulse, exit, engagement, manager assessments) to identify critical areas of development and create development plans to support leaders/management teams.iWhat You'll Need to SucceedExcellent consulting, interpersonal, and coaching skillsStrategic and critical thinking, including demonstrated problem-solving and complex decision-making skillsAbility to leverage data to draw insights, tell stories, and make recommendationsCuriosity and growth mindsetStrong understanding of change leadershipPrior experience working in manufacturing and/or matrixed environments is a plus.Bachelor's Degree requiredMinimum of 4 years of human resources partner experience demonstrating a proven understanding of multiple human resources subject areas, including employee relations, performance management, and management consultation.Willingness to travel within the Midwest region up to 15% with minimal overnight travelClean driving recordiWhy you will love working at AMICompetitive compensation (salary and bonus)Medical, dental, prescription, and vision coverage, the first day of the first month following employmentMatching 401(k) (immediate employer match)Flexible vacation, paid holidays, incl. floating holidaysCareer development opportunitiesEducation and tuition reimbursement programs are availableFlexibility to work remote in the work locations where AMI has offices and from homePaid family leaveiAbout our company:Asphalt Materials, Inc., formed in 1956, has been continually focused on the asphalt business.
