**What You-ll Do**


+ The unit HR Manager is responsible for all HR activities inour Indianapolis office. This includes, but is not limited to the following: - Partner with business leaders for all employee relatedinitiatives - Ensure excellence in service delivery, for HR processes(i.e. performance appraisal, rewards and recognition etc.) - Design and implement talent management and retentionactivities - Drive and share HR best practices - Create and continuously work to improve on-boardingprocess for all new hires within region including client specific on-boarding - Perform all employee off-boarding exercises - Instruct new-hires and other employees on how to useintranet, HRIS, and other Sogeti based systems - Answer employee questions regarding paid time off,holidays, FMLA, leave requests, etc. - Assist and advise Vice President on how to stay incompliance with company policies and employment laws - Listen to and addresses employee concerns - Coach and advise managers and employees - Provide guidance to managers regarding disciplinaryactions - Plan employee events to increase employee engagement-business meetings, holiday parties, happy hours, volunteering events, etc. - Organize internal counselor program - a mentor/managementprogram designed to keep employees connected and to chart career path whileworking at various client sites - Lead yearly performance appraisal and promotion process - Proactively communicate HR updates to employees - Constantly create new initiatives to improve employeeconnectivity, involvement, and attrition - Work with the immigration team to process work visas fornon-US citizen employees - Interface with the recruiting team to drive talentacquisition - Coordinate yearly compensation management activities


**Minimum education qualification**


+ Bachelor's Degree


**The ideal candidate will have:**


- Bachelor`s degree in human

resources or related field is required


- 5 years of experience as a HR

Generalist


- PHR/SPHR preferred


- Knowledge of federal and state

employment laws and regulations and the ability to clearly articulate and apply

human resources principles and practices to broad and complex issues


- Excellent communication and

negotiation skills


- Ability to work with employees,

supervisors, managers and directors at all levels to identify problems and

develop creative solutions, both independently and in cooperation with others

on sensitive and confidential matters
