Duties and Responsibilities:

* Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, wellness and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance.

* Collaborate to design our employer branding and branding pages

* Manage and design our onboarding process, utilizing feedback to continuously improve the program.

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

* Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

* The Human Resources Generalist assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Director.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or equivalent

* Three to five plus years of progressive experience in a Human Resources position.

* Positive and up beat personality with a willingness to step in where needed, a true team player

* General knowledge of employment laws and practices.

* Experience in the administration of benefits programs and other Human Resources programs.

* Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.

* Effective oral and written communication.

* Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

* Protects confidential information/documents and uses discretion in all matters

* Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions.
