As an IO Subsystem RTL Micro-architect, you will be responsible for the development of the micro-architecture, implementation of RTL, sub-system integration, and timing analysis involving cutting-edge IO technologies such as PCIe 6.0, CXL 3.0, PCIe 5.0, CXL 2.0, IPs and subsystems.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
+ MS degree in Electrical Engineering; 5 years of practical experience
+ Domain knowledge in one or more of these areas is highly preferred: PCIe 6.0, PCIe 5.0, CXL 3.0 and 2.0, high-speed SERDES, Die-to-Die interconnects
+ Understanding of System/IO Memory Management Unit (SMMU/IOMMU), AMBA and other high-speed interfaces/protocols is a plus
+ Delivered RTL subsystems and/or top level SoC RTL for multiple projects
+ Expertise in front end design methodologies for RTL database management, RTL partitioning, third party IP integration, lint, DFT, UPF, and synthesis
+ Expertise in clock/reset design and voltage/power domain design
+ Familiarity with high performance and low power design techniques
+ Some hands-on experience in design verification and/or physical design
**Level of Responsibility:**
+ Responsible for micro-architecture, RTL design and contributing to the delivery of the subsystem to meet the PPA (Power, Performance, Area) targets of the product.
+ Microarchitecture development and specification - from early micro architectural exploration to arriving at a detailed specification.
+ RTL ownership. Development, assessment, and refinement of RTL design to target power, performance, area, and timing goals.
+ Functional verification support. Help the design verification team execute on the functional verification strategy.
+ Design delivery. Work with multi-functional engineering team to implement and validate physical design on the aspects of timing, area, reliability, testability, and power
+ Convert chip spec to RTL using internal and external IPs
+ Plan and deliver RTL for continuous integration testing
