POSITION OVERVIEW


The Associate in Enterprise Applications is expected to provide support, with guidance and oversight, in the set-up and maintenance of internal IT applications and services. The ideal candidate for this role, would have a passion for data integrations, analytics, data presentation, and automation. This role will perform administrative duties in Service Manager and Zendesk helpdesk systems, which include but are not limited to user management, customizations, and troubleshooting. Will also create, document, and troubleshoot data integrations between point-to-point and multiple endpoint systems, such as Salesforce, SQL, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Saba Halogen, ADP, and Adaptive, using multiple technologies including by not limited to Tibco Connect, PowerShell, SQL Server Integration Services, and System Center Orchestrator; in addition to graphical report writing using PowerBI and other applications.

This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Detroit office. Candidate must be available and willing to work in-person up to two days per month.


+ Assist with the set-up, installation and configuration of internal applications and services ensuring continuous functionality and capability for internal use.


+ Install service packs/updates within a pre-defined maintenance timeframe, to ensure continued security, functionality and usability of global applications and services.


+ Assist in testing applications and services, using a secured test environment/location, to ensure proper functioning prior to global launch of changes, updates and integrations.


+ Actively monitor the Service Manager system, assign end-user requests and respond in a timely manner to requests to troubleshoot issues with internal applications and services.


+ Actively monitor alerts and reports via Microsoft SCOM and proactively review and respond to issues in a timely manner, ensuring continued functionality of global applications and systems.


+ Assist with maintenance and creation of integration paths between systems via various methods.


+ Assist with the set-up, installation and configuration of ZenDesk, Service Manager system, and Cireson Analyst Portal


+ Document processes, procedures and customizations ensuring clarity of instruction for team members use.


+ Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.


+ Proactively communicates with upper management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.


+ Participate in ad-hoc IT Operations related projects or assignments, as needed.

+ Documentation: Ability to create detailed documentation in a standardized format and follow detailed documentation instructions, including the use of Word and Visio.


+ Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of various technologies required for the specific role (i.e., Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Powershell, API).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


+ Must have a baccalaureate degree in a technical field (computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, etc.) from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.


+ One to three years of related work experience preferred.


+ ITIL Certification required within 90 days of hire.
