IT Project and Financial Analyst (Entry-Level) Put your interest and experience in Project Management and IT Financial Management to good use for a good cause. As the IT Project Associate/ IT Project & Financial Analyst/ IT Project Financial Analyst, you will coordinate the many aspects of corporate and field-based IT initiatives. You will assist with identifying and analyzing business requirements and technical challenges and help define the project scope, requirements, and deliverables. You will also assist with IT budget, forecast, invoice and PO management, managing day-to-day IT financial management tasks. This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.


+ Contribute to project coordination with activities such as status updates, project summary reports, presentations, and closing documentation


+ Assist in the development and maintenance of a technology-related project plan


+ Provide project closing documentation; archive appropriate records Stay involved in projects; provide status updates of customers and projects


+ Assist with IT financial day-to-day tasks such as IT invoices, requisitions, PO, invoice approvals


+ Manage IT budget, forecast files and plug in actuals as they are received. Gather monthly accruals and partner with the FP&A team to share budget forecasts and accruals


+ Work with Project Managers to manage IT project workbooks and budgets


+ Coordinate with technical and personnel resources to ensure project results conform to quality, time, and budgetary stipulations Initiate contact with customers, identify their needs, and provide them with appropriate service from the beginning to the end of a project


+ Verify appropriate approvals have been completed. Review and approve invoices. Make sure vendors included Purchase orders on invoices


+ Verify cost is in the budget - Ensure invoices are coded to correct account/cost center, and project name/code if is work on a Capitalized project. Make any updates if needed.


+ Work with appropriate managers to resolve any discrepancies before approving Forecast updates - Identify any cost not in budget or amounts that need to be adjusted and note for inclusion in next forecast update


Qualifications:


+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or related field


+ 1-3 years of experience coordinating or managing projects within IT using best practice methodologies


+ 1-3 years of experience in IT Finance related activities such as invoice management, budget/forecast/actuals


+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines


+ Effective communication skills to manage relationships


+ Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player
