**What You-ll Do**

IT Security Consultant

Protects digital information through safeguarding the Sogeti

network, files, user accounts and other sensitive information. Provides cybersecurity governance and/or

cyber threat management subject matter expertise by monitoring and

understanding the ever-changing threat landscape and collaborates with business

units and the IT department to ensure timely risk identification,

prioritization, and mitigation of threats and vulnerabilities.



Assist information security operations including

governance, compliance, risk analysis, maintenance, awareness and training.


Develop and enhance existing information

security policies, procedures, aligned with Corporate Information Security

program as well as with Client-s project requirements


Perform regular assessment of organizational

security posture, improve, measure and report metrics to leadership.


Plan and coordinate Incident response with IT

management, legal, safety/security, and law enforcement agencies.


Consult on multiple security related projects

and technologies, interfacing with others within the IT organization as well as

other internal business units and Clients/partners.


Participate in and execute IT security projects

and vulnerability management programs in close co-ordination with internal

teams and vendors.



Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer

Science or related field with 5 or more years- experience in Information Technology.


Effective oral and written communication skills

are necessary, especially the ability to present technical information to an

audience with a broad range of information technology experience.


Technically proficient with security tool sets

such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners,

log aggregation and analysis/SIM/SIEM.


Technically proficient with security features of

Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Exchange and storage



Conversant with security features of Office 365,

SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure and AWS.


Conversant with security regulations and

frameworks such as HIPAA, privacy and ISO 27001. Demonstrated successful

ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with

cross-functional business teams.


Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and

decision making skills.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.


Required to function independently to analyze

information and report variances.


Professional Security certifications (CISSP,

CEH, GCIH, etc.) certifications are desired.
