Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is now seeking Industrial Millwrights in Roanoke and the surrounding areas.

The Millwright is responsible for quality mechanical installation/repair projects for our industrial customers.

Responsibilities:

+ Uphold the Moore's business mission through teamwork

+ Maintain the company image by putting out a quality product on time

+ Ensure that installations are done correctly per job site documentation and direction from the Foreman

+ Uphold the Moore's safety culture by providing a safe work site for you and your crew

+ Be a training mentor for helpers/apprentices

Preferred skills:

+ Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage.

+ Experience in tear down and assembling of industrial machinery

+ Experience in troubleshooting and replacing industrial machinery parts

+ Experience in machinery/equipment alignment

+ Pipefitting, rigging, fabrication, and welding experience a plus

+ Able to use hands to control tools and materials while being able to lift up to 85 pounds.

+ Able to work from high locations from ladders, lifts, and/or scaffolding

+ Able to work in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
