Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is responsible for analyzing customer needs relating to product inquiries, issuing quotes, resolving customer complaints, answering questions, and generalized functions in coordination with the sales team. The incumbent will be able to identify business and sales objectives, discover customer pain points, offer recommendations and recognize new market opportunities. They will function with a minimum amount of supervision after training and will be responsible for following department procedures


Job Requirements:


+ Experience in an environment with customer interaction


+ Engaging and outgoing personality and passion for helping customers.


+ A general understanding and technical competence in industrial/packaging/drive components manufacturing


+ Apply understanding and knowledge of BRECOflex products to assist customers with their quote requests


+ Professional written and spoken communications skills


+ Computer literate including a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, CRM Database, SAGE/ERP, Pricing Programs


Skills and Experience:


+ Previous sales experience where influencing, persuading, and/or negotiating skills were needed, preferred


+ Salesforce/CRM, required


+ Prior manufacturing experience, preferred


+ Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, preferred


+ Time and project management skills, required


Job Functions:


+ Provides customers with sales and limited technical (product) support via phone, email, chat and video


+ Recognize customers with requests or product needs that require advanced support and escalate


+ Generate new business growth through cross-selling and upselling.


+ Issues quotes in response to inbound requests


+ Utilizes all pricing tools and methods including requesting quotes from vendors


+ Checks inventory to coordinate lead times


+ Assists customers in understanding expedite lead times and fees


+ Follow up on pending quotes through outbound phone calls as defined by the sales process.


+ Works directly with outside sales team members to support territory and customers


+ Route qualified leads to inside/outside sales team as appropriate


+ Supports department activities and goals and any assigned metrics


+ Assists teammates to meet customer demand


+ Projects, assignments and daily tasks as assigned by management


Physical/Environmental:


+ Standard office setting


+ Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for an extended period of time


+ Must be able to speak to customers over the phone


+ Must be able to move about office and warehouse


+ Must be able to focus on tasks without being distracted by competing ambient noise


+ Must be able to work within close proximity of others
