+ Maintain and further develop the inventory control programs to meet customer requirements on a timely basis.

+ Responsible for ensuring all disciplines are in place and transactions are executed to assure inventory accuracy of purchased parts, raw materials, and manufactured product within the ERP system.

+ Train and monitor the functional areas within the plant to ensure that all inventory transactions are performed corrected and on a timely basis to improve overall accuracy of the perpetual inventory systems; this includes but is not limited to production and scrap reporting, receipt entry, timely and accurate backflushing of raw materials.

+ Responsible for coordinating all cycle count and leading physical inventory.

+ Investigate root cause and implement corrective actions of inventory variances.

+ Coordinate and lead BOM reviews for all manufactured parts, EPIC part enrichment and set up

+ Monitor and investigate QAD negative inventory report.

+ Lead effort to organize visual inventory systems on the shop floor and maintain BOMs/part set up in crib management systems.

+ Assist in coordination of engineering/process changes, minimization of obsolete materials and risk inventory and participate in launch events.

+ System or process improvements/suggestions should be brought to the attention of upper management

+ Ensure compliance to all BOS/SOX and internal plant procedures.


+ Detailed understanding and experience working with MRP systems.

+ Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel.

+ Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

+ Ability to process time sensitive information and orders and meet deadlines.

+ Ability to accurately communicate to co-workers and management.

+ Accurate Document Control.

+ Previous experience in Supply Chain and inventory control; experience in repetitive, just-in-time manufacturing, beneficial.

+ Effective oral and written communication skills.

+ Requires secondary education degree; field unimportant (wants to see someone who continues to learn).

+ Must have JIT manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive industry.

+ Must be self-starter.

+ Excel experience is crucial; should be intermediate to advanced level skills.

+ Position will require troubleshooting, Root cause analysis, and presentation of findings - should be comfortable interacting with different levels in the organization.

+ ERP experience required; QAD is a plus.

+ Looking for 3-5 years previous inventory experience.
