Aviation recruiter


JOB DESCRIPTION


The Aviation Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, identifying and placing qualified candidates. This position builds and maintains relationships with employees and human resource contacts to ensure a safe and satisfactory work environment by performing the following duties: .


+ Source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including fulltime crewmembers, entry level, experienced professional, support staff and hourly.


+ In partnership with management, identifies staffing needs and search assignments.


+ Meets minimum staffing matrix requirements, for all assigned positions.


+ Writes and places job advertisements in various external media including but not limited to, the website, internet, newspapers, crowd sourcing and industry publications.


+ Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments and its clients to create and maintain partnerships that yields success trust, and credibility.


+ Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.


+ Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to stay competitive.


+ Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and recruiting activity and updates the applicant tracking system and/or any other system appropriately.


+ Other duties may be assigned, as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


+ Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; and two years+ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recruiting, talent acquisition, aviation preferred.


+ May be required to be 21 or older and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must also be able to pass a required 10-year background check


+ Excellent computer skills with a degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, XP, Power Point, and Outlook. Some knowledge of ATS applications desirable.


+ Excellent oral and written communication skills


+ Must present a team effort approach, attention to detail and strong organizational skills


+ Must be proactive, efficient, customer focused and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
